More about Miro
His software developer journey started in 2012 by creating multiple mobile games and apps, mainly for the US market. In 2015, Miro demonstrated remarkable innovation by developing the desktop and mobile app “My Spy ↗”, designed to empower parents in safeguarding their children from online risks. Miro earned several prestigious awards for his groundbreaking creations, including the Technical Idea of the Year 2018 from the University of Zilina, the Jury Prize at the AMAVET Science and Technology Festival, and the Special Award of the Dean of FIIT STU in Bratislava.
In the same period, Miro initiated the open-source project “Good Teacher ↗”. This educational tool facilitated the creation of tests, quizzes, and interactive presentations, fostering a dynamic learning environment. Recognized for its impact on education, he received top honors in various competitions, including 1st place in JuniorLEARN and Absolute Junior Internet, the latter conferred by the Association for Youth, Science, and Technology.
Miro’s proficiency extends beyond app development; he excelled in competitions like the VSD team competition, where he simulated innovative public lighting solutions using microcomputers. Notable achievements also encompass a 2nd place finish in the Networking Academy Games 2020 and recognition from Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Slovakia for his exceptional diploma thesis (2023).
With an impressive Weighted Academic Average of 96.50%, Miro completed his engineering studies, earning the Rector’s Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. Since high school, Miro has actively contributed to various companies, and his solutions have proven invaluable for the operations of large enterprises. His unwavering commitment to excellence and continuous innovation distinguishes him as a valuable asset in the field of software development. Miro is currently a Ph.D. candidate and continuously deepens his skills and knowledge in design patterns, software architecture, machine learning, and neural networks concepts.
More about David
Earning a Ph.D. in Computer Vision (2015), he actively participated in many research projects (from proposal writing to implementation), supervised nearly 100 theses, and led a video team at a Computer Network Laboratory. Engaged in the startup scene for over a decade, he boasts contest achievements and global conference contributions (Singapore, Dubai, Vancouver, Copenhagen…)
Since 2016, he has overseen Slovakia’s largest video-conferencing infrastructure, demonstrating his skills by redesigning and implementing new solutions in 2021, extending its operation by over 3 years. He proved reliable in technical challenges like a stable video bridge for remote surgery in a hospital and broadcasting the World University Sport Climbing Championships to 100K+ viewers.
With 15+ years of corporate collaboration, he developed software solutions for financial data analysis. He is an authorized person for the EU classification verification system in the IT and telecommunications sector in Slovakia (Programmer, IT Security Specialist, Computer Networks Specialist).
More about Andy
Playing a pivotal role in numerous national and international research projects, Andy has also provided supervision and consultation for over 100 diploma and bachelor’s theses within the domain of information technology (network security, image processing, web development, IoT, AI, …). His analytical abilities are evident through his active involvement in software analysis of information systems for various projects. Andy actively engages in entrepreneurial and startup initiatives and brings valuable experience with ICT innovation for manufacturing SMEs in a Digital Innovation Hub.
He has established an extensive record of authoring and co-authoring numerous research publications and educational materials. As a speaker, he has participated in several international research conferences and events (Tokyo, Vancouver, Singapore, Copenhagen, Dubai, …).
In addition to his professional endeavors, he also has interests in computer networks, image processing, network security, and the development of educational materials.
